My Approach to Helping
I offer video-conferencing (chat) and telephonic therapy. This allows flexibility for the client and will allow others to join in the therapy session.
Each new client completes a quick psycho-social before treatment begins.
I use techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, insight-oriented therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and existential therapy depending on what difficulties my client is struggling with.
I provide a unique opportunity for clients to receive the help they need by helping them feel comfortable and trusting. This is important because if you and your therapist aren't a good fit, it will affect the results and usefulness of the therapy.
There are short homework assignments for clients to practice after the therapy session that help accelerate their progress.
If you have anxiety about seeing a therapist in person, then therapy via video or phone is perfect for you.
