My Approach to Helping
I use a much-needed and compassionate approach to integrating traumatic memories in order to become fully healed. As your therapist, I would help guide your present self to reconnect gently with your past selves who have experienced trauma. I would act as a bridge-builder between your different selves and allow them kindness, respect, and love. It's a meditative and intimate experience and it produces long-lasting change in a short amount of time.

Lifespan Integration is a very gentle method which works on a deep neural level to change patterned responses and outmoded defensive strategies. LI therapy helps people connect unpleasant feelings and dysfunctional patterns with the memories of the past events with hisher present self to effect long-lasting and sustained change.
I am a RYT-200 Yoga Instructor with a personal practice of 10 years and have introduced yoga in my counseling sessions with clients. I've found that yoga works extremely well in addressing issues such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, and overall well being.
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and families, and am fluent in Spanish.
My Therapy Focus
I am forward looking and solution focused. I look to the past to see how it has informed the present which will lead us to where we can make changes for the future. The body has a way of telling us when something is wrong and I believe that the mind-body connection is a way to greater overall healing.
