My Approach to Helping
Cynthia knows that true healing requires healing the whole person in mind, body, and spirit. Her client-centered approach builds a therapeutic alliance that meets clients where they are. Cynthia then helps them develop a client-invested treatment plan.
Her approach is structured but not directive. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, mindfulness, The Seven Challenges, and solution focused brief therapy (SFBT). She also offers Christian counseling built upon Christian principles, and clinical interventions to address life and mental health challenges.
