My Approach to Helping
Welcome, I am dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment where you can safely explore all aspects of yourself and your relationships. I work with individuals and couples using techniques of mindful awareness and intentional focusing, to most effectively deepen and grow your self-awareness. It is with compassionate self-awareness that deep and lasting change occurs.
I specialize in couples and relationship therapy. I work with couples struggling to keep their marriages and partnerships together. Some of the most common reasons for couples to seek therapy are; trust issues, value differences, inequity in the relationship, infidelity, parenting differences, respect issues, lack of common interests, boredom, communication difficulties, flirting behavior, demeaning one another, not listening to one another, criticizing, overly-demanding, inappropriate expectations, insecurity, jealousy, unresolved conflicts, and lack of compassion, among others.
I also work with couples who want to deepen and grow a committed and functioning relationship.
