My Approach to Helping
My approach to working with others is one of respect, empathy and humility. When meeting someone for the first time in my office, I am interested in learning about them as a person and the types of issues that are impacting feelings of worthiness and satisfaction in their lives. It is important to me that we work together to end your suffering and dissatisfaction in a timely manner, and for this reason, I strongly believe using therapeutic frameworks and techniques that have been shown to be the most effective for specific issues. My approach in working with people is collaborative, and starts with first, identifying areas of concern for you, prioritizing which concerns to initially address, and lastly, working together to address the areas of concern. In my heart I hold the belief that every person deserves to live a life without emotional or psychological suffering.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
With hard work, therapy can be a place where you develop insight and new skills to maintain balanced emotions and psychological well being. Therapy is also a great place to explore the issues that repeatedly come up in life to disrupt your ability to live the life you deserve. With the insight and skills you develop in therapy, you will be better equipped to move through life without getting stuck in unhealthy thought patterns, feelings, or relationships.
My Therapy Focus
At this time my practice focusses on the areas of communication skills, feelings of rejection and inadequacy, sadness or depression, anxiety issues or excessive worry, divorce, adoption, family or origin issues, family problems, teen issues and multi-ethnic identity issues.
