My Approach to Helping
I have counseled people from all walks of life and through many challenges and transitions. My approach is a blend of Client-Centered Therapy, DBT, CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, and Psychoeducation with a strong focus on Mindfulness including deep breathing, guided meditation, healing light visualization, Meridian Tapping (EFT) and art therapy. I take a personal interest in your goals for therapy and in you.

The focus of my practice is to provide adults in Colorado Springs with problem-solving assistance and counseling to help individuals heal, energize and become aware of their inner strengths by providing a neutral safe space, listening to their concerns, and customizing an individualized treatment plan. I will walk with you through this part of your journey to help you grow from your experiences, heal from your pain, and transcend to A New Life.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Sometimes we may not feel like we really have "problems" that require counseling, but we know that we are experiencing emotional discord that could be presenting, for example, as anxiety or depression, physical ailments, sleep issues, or discord in our relationships with others. Or there might be times when we wish we could talk to someone about a particular struggle for an objective perspective, but without going deep into psychotherapy. Often, there are very comfortable ways to manage feelings that can bring about peace and balance in your life. Counseling should feel safe, calming, non-judgmental, and, ultimately, empowering. I am happy to answer any questions you have about the counseling environment and my spiritual energy gifts that can help you to find peace and balance in your life.
