My Approach to Helping
Hello, my name is Courtney Sippel. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping children and adults develop coping skills to overcome life’s challenges while creating optimism about the future.
I have been practicing social work in California for the past 10 years and psychotherapy for the past 5. I have worked with children and adolescents in the foster care system, the Department of Social Services, and the Riverside County Health System-Behavioral Health Children’s Clinic. Additionally, I have facilitated court-ordered parenting and anger management classes for adults. I am certified and specialize in parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) and possess meaningful experience working with children, adolescents, and those suffering from depression, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and various other approaches in my practice. I offer an empathetic, validating, and understanding environment that ensures a safe space for achieving mental health goals.
