My Approach to Helping

It is NORMAL to have some conflict in relationships and times of feeling down, worried or out of sorts. If those times feel they are lasting longer than manageable, therapy can be a helpful way to process and sort through tough emotions and challenging times or when it has become too hard to cope in isolation.

I work together with individuals and couples in a safe and non-judging space to generate new ideas, set goals for change and find solutions to help lighten the load and find a more peaceful way forward. I am an empathic listener, accepting of wherever you are at in your journey, and open to exploring your losses, challenges and dreams with you. I approach therapy with a creative and active style sprinkled with a good sense of humor, as laughter is some of the best medicine.

I am located on the border of Minneapolis and St. Paul with close access to Light-Rail transit and Hwy 280 & 94.

For your convenience I have off-street parking, evening and Saturday hours available and off-street parking.

Initial intake session is $175 and follow up sessions are $130 for a 50-minute session $165 for 75-minute session.

I do offer sliding-scale fee services if cost is a barrier to receiving support.

I believe we do not just exist from the neck up, and that what goes on in our bodies can be just as useful a tool as what is happening in our minds. If you are interested in the mind-body connection, we can incorporate relaxation skills and address issues from a mindfulness-based stress reduction perspective.
