Are you are frustrated with an aspect of your life, not sure how to stop making the same choices? Are drugs or alcohol interfering with your happiness? Do you feel stuck and need help making a decision?

Sometimes life can seem like an unending stream of difficult choices and frustrating situations. I love helping people feel good about themselves and have fulfilling lives. I offer you compassionate counseling and respect your privacy. Once we are able to prioritize your wants and needs, I help you narrow down your choices and decide what plan will work best for you.

Your first (free) consultation is designed for us to get to know each other a little and for you to decide if you think counseling might be beneficial. My office is private and your confidentiality is protected. Please call me for more information or to make an appointment.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Someone may have told you that you should see a counselor or you may not be sure that counseling will help. Everyone goes through challenging times occasionally. Although you may not need a therapist, you might be surprised how much better you feel even after your first session. Even a small change over time can make a big difference in your life.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

Although I have years of experience helping people feel more self-confident, sleep better with less anxiety and stress--- I know addiction. And I know recovery.

I have been in long-term recovery, for more than 23 years, and because my challenges I know how difficult life can be sometimes. And even though you may not know how you will recover, I do! I've been there and I know I can help!

Individuals and families suffer alone with few (if any) people to talk to for support ...not knowing how to deal with what they are experiencing in their own relationships and families. Having the support of others who have experience with addiction and recovery- who can tell you where to go, who to talk to--and not talk to, can make a big difference. You don't have to be alone anymore.

Recovery is a process, not an event. The process is full of new revelations, disappointments, surprises, set-backs and unexpected delights. I will bring you hope, direction and support all along the way. Call me for a free consultation to find out how.
