My Approach to Helping

This might seem hard to believe at the moment as you are likely seeking therapy due to significant life stressors and challenges. However, when the intention to heal is set, this is exactly what happens. So let me commend you on taking this first courageous step towards your own personal transformation.
One of the most important aspects of reaching your healing goals is the therapeutic relationship. Creating a space where you feel safe, respected and valued is of the utmost importance to me. I want you to feel confident that you can be who you are, that you can openly express your thoughts and feelings, as well that you can comfortably practice new behaviors at a pace and in the ways that works best for you.
The healing process will be challenging at times. Limiting beliefs and patterns from your past will resurface. (Please be assured that this is a natural and healthy part of the growth process.) What you can also trust to resurface are long forgotten personal strengths, skills and motivations.

My greatest passion as a therapist is helping people gain deeper meaning and appreciation for who they uniquely are. Expressing who you are is truly the best gift you can offer to yourself and others. It is also the most direct way to achieve the goals you are most passionate about in life.
