My Approach to Helping
I believe for your every problem, there is a deeper rooted issue and together, we can get at it. Sometimes the challenges we have in life can feel stressful and overwhelming to cope with on our own. Add to that, feelings of depression, anxiety, or feeling inadequate in some way. It's during these periods in life when seeking support and a greater understanding as to why we are experiencing these emotions and symptoms is important for our overall wellbeing. It's my passion and desire to help others experiencing significant difficulties in their lives. I care about the people I work with and my goal is to provide an environment where you feel heard, understood, validated, and respected.

I utilize an affirmative approach when working with LGBTQ+ individuals.
My Role as a Therapist
My role as your therapist is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment so that you feel comfortable with openly sharing about your inner experience. Together, we'll get at those deep rooted issues so that you're more aware of what's really going on, allowing you to make better, more informed, decisions on what to do about it.
