My Approach to Helping

No judgement. No shame, No blame therapy and treatment. Competent, compassionate, and fully trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. We won’t make matters worse! Our first step will be an initial assessment which can be completed in your first visit. After that, we will set-up your treatment plan within 7 days and after a few weeks, you will feel hopeful in ways you haven’t before and think deeper about things you hadn’t thought about before. You will see your behaviors change!

Detox, Medication-Assisted Treatment (Suboxone, Vivitrol, Naltrexone, etc.), Day Treatment, IOP, SOP, Aftercare. We will complete a thorough assessment so that we can determine what your most relevant needs are. Next, we will develop a positive therapeutic pathway, with a unique treatment plan. Once you received a copy of your plan, the restorative healing process begins.

ONLINE THERAPY is available. We have a REDUCED RATE program. Medication is available at this clinic. We also work with the COURTS. ASSESSMENT ONLY can be accommodated

More Info About My Practice

As a survivor of childhood trauma, I understand the needs of those who live in the culture of scarcity and experience unexpected hardship. I have proven tenacity and fortitude in helping others realize their own potential in the face of vulnerability. Self-defeating thoughts and behaviors can be a thing of the past. With significant connections throughout the community and a public and widely respected track record showing championship in working with addiction and men\'s issues, I provide a compassionate, consistent, and ethical clinical approach. My clinical approach is one that ultimately helps alleviate emotional pain, develop insight and motivations for change, change andor reverse maladaptive patterns of behaviors, and encourages and promotes positive and pro-social personality development, and increase support networks for therapeutic growth & change.

“If we lived in a current era and reality that people enjoyed and loved more than the euphoria of what drugs and alcohol provides, then I suppose people would feel compelled to use drugs and alcohol less. Current times and political & socio-relational dysfunction brings with it loads of distress, causing trauma and psychic pain for individuals and families forced to cooperate for their livelihoods in that systemic failure. I don’t blame the person affected by their environment and then afflicted by addiction; I blame the times. It’s a terrible and disastrous world we live in, distraught with war, violence, judgement, division, hatred, and a slew of heavy, unrealistic, and false expectations on our children; not what our primitive ancestors or even our classical forefathers had envisioned. Is this the kind of reality we want? It can be radically different if we make it so. Thanks to the foot soldiers on the ground making the difference and breaking this monstrous cycle; when you accept and love people for who they are, ridding them of their shame, and giving them back their humanity and worth. I appreciate you.” Clif U.
