My Approach to Helping
I am looking forward to meeting with you! I have a warm, empathic, and direct style of therapy. I am a dedicated therapist and it is important to me to provide you with skilled, quality, and integrative therapy to meet your individual concerns in a supportive and confidential manner. I focus on empowering you to meet your needs and goals in an encouraging and nonjudgmental manner.
The aim of our work together is help identify any obstacles, find your strengths, and set goals while providing guidance and support to help you live the life you have envisioned for yourself. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families and offer a sliding scale if needed.

EATING DISORDERS AND SELF-INJURY ISSUES:
If you are struggling with an eating disorder or self-injury or know someone who is, I am here to work through this with you and your family. Often when you are struggling with food, body image and/or self-harm issues, you can feel depressed, very anxious, have mood swings, have body image issues (eating disorder), and/or you may withdraw from your family and friends. I am here to listen and provide the support and education you may be looking for. Together we help you create balance in your life, learn good self care and find peace.
TEEN DATING VIOLENCE:
Are you experiencing these issues in your relationship: Does he/she check your cell phone, emails, and social network without your permission; extremely jealous; constant belittling you/puts you down; explosive temper; makes false accusations; erratic mood swings; possessiveness; attempts to isolate you from friends/family; very controlling; doesn't take responsibility for their own actions; blames you when he/she treats you badly by telling you the ways you have provoked them? Females between the ages of 16 and 24 are roughly 3 times more likely than the rest of the population to be abused by a boyfriend/intimate partner. If you believe there is a problem, don't ignore the warning signs. Trust your intuition!
