My Approach to Helping
Therapy should be tailored to each person's unique story and strengths. I use a combination of psychodynamic therapy, strength based therapy, client-centered therapy, relational, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. Together we can figure out what may work best for you in order to establish and meet your goals.
I love working with and welcome children, adolescents, and adults coping with a variety of issues including depression,low self-esteem, anxiety, stress and relationships, trauma/post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, life transitions, anger management and chronic and acute health issues. This list is by no means complete as many life events and personal difficulties cannot be explained by one issue. Whatever you are facing, it is our job to look at it together.
I am relaxed but active in creating a collaborative working-relationship with clients. It is not my job to judge you, only to be supportive and helpful. Please contact me if you feel like we may be a good fit for working together.
