Hi everyone! My name is Chris Carkhum and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. I have been a paid professional counselor for several decades. I currently hold three master’s degrees: Master of Science, Clinical Administrative Specialist (1988), Master of Education (2008), and Master of Arts, Forensic Psychology (2014). I am also a doctoral candidate, in Counselor Education and Supervision, scheduled to defend my dissertation during the Spring Semester of 2022. I have also completed and been certified in several clinical areas of practice. I have provided effective, outcome-based therapy for anxiety, marital counseling, individual counseling, couple counseling, addiction counseling, informed trauma therapy, and US Dept. of Transportation SAP substance abuse evaluations. Additionally, I provide clinical services for those individuals that have experienced sexual, physical, and emotional trauma. Finally, I am also a State of Georgia Certified Educator, and School Guidance Counselor (K-12). Additional clinical services may be available based upon comprehensive clinical evaluation.
