My Approach to Helping
Living with anxiety or OCD can lead to disruptions at home, work, and relationships. Getting help is a great first step in learning strategies to manage anxiety. My approach when working with you is to work collaboratively to reduce symptoms. We work together to develop goals and use proven strategies that can be translated into everyday living, regardless of the type of anxiety you have. The interventions used in treatment are supported by research and have helped thousands with anxiety.
My practice speciality and specialized training is in anxiety disorders and OCD disorders. This includes insomnia, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive -compulsive disorders, and body-focused repetitive disorders. My goal is to help clients feeling better and functioning better.
I work with adults, adolescents, and children. Effective treatment in children is very important because it can prevent problems as your child gets older. I work with parents on helping their child build skills to reduce symptoms and help your child build strengths and confidence in managing and reducing their anxiety.
