My Approach to Helping
Very often people come to therapy to get "unstuck" and to effect a change in their lives. It's my aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where we can address feelings and long-held beliefs that no longer sustain you. Based on your particular needs, I may bring in mindfulness, body awareness or explore your earliest interactions with your primary caregivers. At the heart of successful therapy is the relationship that forms between the client and therapist. Together, we create new experiences that can be deeply healing and transformative.
I work with individual adults and couples for both short-term and long-term therapy, specializing in anxiety, life transitions, depression, cross-cultural, and relationship issues. Drawing on my 20-year career in marketing for Internet and technology companies including Apple and Yahoo!, I understand first-hand the challenges of balancing a high-stress career, home, and personal interests.
