My Approach to Helping
Therapy is the process of meeting with a licensed mental health professional to help you resolve problematic behaviors, thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Through therapy, you can change self-destructive behaviors, resolve painful memories, improve relationships, and more. With commitment and time, you will be able to live a mentally and emotionally healthy life. I have specialty training in the following treatment modalities: eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR); cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT); motivational interviewing; ego states therapy; perinatal mental health and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT). I use a combination of these modalities in my treatment of clients based on their individual needs.
