My Approach to Helping

I' would like to start by telling you how I enjoy working with adolescents, teenagers and adults. I am interested in helping you be successful in your life. This success reaches from therapy into school, work, relationships or out in the world. My goal is to help you accomplish your goals you have set for yourself.

There is a limit to my goals concerning you treatment. My goals are your goals just as long as your goals are legal and healthy. Learning to coping skills is a huge part of getting away from the "hamster wheel" that plagues so many.

I learned these skills myself as a client over twenty years ago and know they can be put into practice even in the darkest moments. I believe in you and know as a team we can work together.

There are many times when a person feels lost or they have come to a place where something has to "change". Give me a call and we can work together putting a plan in place and reach your potential. Sometimes all it takes is someone to talk to start to feel better and live a happier life.

If you are tired of feeling co-dependent or today is no different than yesterday. I look forward to hearing from you so together we can put together a healthy plan to start setting boundaries in your life.

I work with business clients to help them become and stay successful and use temperament certification to encourage each individual to reach his or her potential.

More Info About My Practice

Serving adolescent, teenagers, and adult populations reach their potential in life through therapy and consulting has been my dream since childhood. Working with a therapist is a great tool to help oneself reach the goals you always wanted but could not quite seem to reach.

Furst in Counseling PC gives you the ability to learn new coping skills, tools to help yourself, and ways to heal past traumas. As a trauma survivor and as a therapist I can relate and give back to the community through my education. I incorporate art into many of the sessions that the individual wants to add a new coping skill.

Offering DBT Groups weekly for Adolescents on Mondays and DBT Adult Group on Wednesday starting the first week in July 2019. This will be a closed group of 8-10 clients in each group. If you know someone who is interested please feel free to have them call me at 970-593-2279.
