My Approach to Helping
My ideal client is one who struggles with depression or anxiety but is opened minded and willing to participate and discuss what they are struggling with during the session and work on the goals we created together in the session. They come into session expressing the successes and challenges they encountered using the coping strategies, mindfulness practices, and self-care methods they worked on throughout that week.
I provide a therapeutic approach using different evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based and Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills to help my clients learn and identify what is happening and how to manage their mental health.
