My Approach to Helping
Being a therapist is incredibly humbling. Every day I get to meet people with a vast array of problems. Some problems there's a specific technique or process that you can use that will assist the client. Other times all you can do is to work with the person in front of you to figure out ways to cope. In Therapy as it is in Life, your view of the world shapes your reality. If you think a person is broken and the world is a terrible place, that's what you are going to see in your reality. If on the other hand, you understand that things can go wrong and that it's your job to make the world a better place for all, then that's what you can make happen. Therapy is when two or more people come together in cooperation to achieve a specific goal.
