My Approach to Helping
I am a psychotherapist who hopes to provide you with a space to be heard. I have assisted adult clients in navigating issues around race, class, gender, and sexual orientation. In addition, I have worked with individuals around stress, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, and trauma.
My background is centered in social work where I have learned to use a psychodynamic approach in conjunction with modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem solving therapy to explore each person's story and assist in achieving their goals.
I am a strong believer in collaborative discussion to promote your personal growth and would like the opportunity to get to know you. If I sound like someone you would like to take that first step with, please feel free to send me an email or give me a call.
