My goal as a counselor is to create a supportive environment where you can explore your emotional needs and overcome barriers that limit your full potential. I take an open-minded, holistic approach to your wellness and consider your family traditions, your work life, and your cultural and spiritual beliefs. I offer counseling sessions for Individuals, Couples, and Families.
In addition; I work with Military families who are adjusting to change and transition. I work with many people who suffered trauma in their childhood. I tend to take on the role of a coach or part of your own personal team. I believe that you are the expert in your life.
Relationship Issues: Couples bring unique cultural issues and communication patterns into a relationship. Sometimes couples get stuck in an unhealthy pattern. Relationships are a balance of togetherness, individual space, and family time. Working through issues can be difficult, but it also strengthens a relationship.
Parenting Issues: Unfortunately kids do not come with an instruction manual. I'll work with your family to help you survive those tough years of parenting. Transitions in family structure, the teen years, and parent-child conflicts are a few of the things we can work on.
Individual Issues: Individual counseling provides an opportunity for you to openly talk about your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. Individual issues may include stress, anxiety, depression, life changes, and more.
