My Approach to Helping
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with individuals, couples and families. I work with individuals seeking therapy for a variety of reasons including depression, anxiety, life transitions, spiritual issues, family of origin issues, boundary and self care development, self esteem and relationship problems. I also work with couples to enhance communication and connection. I help individuals explore and navigate life’s challenges while incorporating a biblical perspective to bring about hope and healing.
I work from a systemic and holistic approach, aiming to address the root issues that keep clients stuck in the same cycle. My goal is to help clients understand and process past experiences contributing to their current situation as well as equipping them with the tools needed for a healthy and fulfilling life both intra- and interpersonally.
I believe every client is someone Christ has entrusted into my care and am dedicated to walking alongside clients as they navigate making sense of their story and the hurt and difficulties they are experiencing. My desire is to be a safe place that encourages and challenges clients in order to facilitate healing and growth.
