My Approach to Helping
Trauma-informed and identity-affirmative, my work emphasizes non-judgment and safety. Therapy sessions feel engaging, warm, and honest. I honor the uniqueness of each individual’s perspective while helping identify strengths and celebrate growth. I work with adults teens, couples, and families. I am also a Certified Life Coach and Certified Family Trauma Therapist.
My Role as a Therapist
My role as a therapist is to provide a safe-container for change to take place. Sessions are a collaborative experience; I will listen carefully to your thoughts, feelings, and experiences and, together, we will explore old patterns, learn ways to cope, and try new skills. The real test of therapy is how well you are able to use your new skills to better your relationships and improve outcomes in your day-to-day life.
