My Approach to Helping
In times of upheaval, you may feel lost and alone. You may wonder who to talk to when talking with family or friends may start to feel like it isn't enough. Imagine having someone to talk to in a safe environment without fear of judgement. Counseling can help you navigate not only the events going on in your life but also the changes you want to make to help you adjust to these changes better.
Client-centered therapy allows for you to be seen and heard in the counseling room for better exploration of yourself and your relationships. You are the captain of your own ship as we navigate the rough waters around you together. Mindfulness and meditation are used as adjuncts to my client-centered approach to help with emotional expression and stress reduction.
