My Approach to Helping
I have extensive training and experience in multiple approaches that can help facilitate deep change. If you are feeling frustrated with your life and confused by the way you are not able to achieve your potential because you experience anxiety, self-loathing, shame, or depression, I can support you in learning how to create the life you want. In a curious, accepting, and nonjudgmental way, I collaborate closely with you to identify what is getting in the way of you having the life you want and to make sense of your experience. I can support you in developing self-awareness and mindfulness about the parts of you that are trying to take care of you, but that prevents you from achieving your goals in perhaps confusing ways. Drawing on EMDR, Internal Family Systems and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, I offer a wide range of powerful interventions to help you move forward, even when you have felt stuck in old patterns. When you gain an awareness and develop compassion towards different parts of yourself, you can start making more conscious, mindful choices about your life.
