My Approach to Helping
If you are feeling frustrated with your life and confused by the way you are not able to achieve your full potential because you have what can seem like bewildering experiences such as times of desperation, anxiety, self-loathing, shame, or depression, I can support you in learning how to feel more in control of your life. In a curious, accepting, and nonjudgmental way, I collaborate closely with you to identify what is getting in the way of you having the life you want and to make sense of your experience. I can support you in developing self-awareness and mindfulness about the parts of you that are trying to take care of you, but that prevents you from achieving your goals in perhaps confusing ways. Drawing on specialized approaches, I can offer a wide range of powerful interventions to help you move forward, even when you have felt stuck in old patterns. When you gain an awareness and develop compassion towards different parts of yourself, you can start making more conscious, mindful choices about your life.
