My Approach to Helping
When I meet with you in my office, I will take time to understand how you may have been hurt, what may have led to feeling depressed, how you may have lost confidence in yourself or how you have struggled to deal with the stressors or conflicts in your life. As many of the difficulties we face in life are rooted in our relationships, the relationship in therapy is important in providing healing, support, and encouragement. I would value the opportunity to offer a helping hand during a difficult time in your life.
I am also adept with evidence-based strategies and procedures for addressing a range of clinical issues and concerns including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, addictions, and disabilities with adults, teens, and children.
Treatment plans are individualized, and a considerate and collaborative approach is utilized in identifying goals and formulating a path to comfort, confidence, and well-being.
Our worldview contributes significantly in shaping our thoughts, feelings, and experiences in life. While my own worldview is Christian, I respect the worldview and support the spiritual experience of each person I meet.
