My Approach to Helping
If you are coping with issues related to life transitions, aging, mobility loss, depression, anxiety, grief, cognitive decline, or quality of life, I bring emotional support and counseling to you in your home. If you are motivated to make changes to bring about fulfillment, I will walk with you and help guide you there.
More Info About My Practice
Having therapy in your home can provide you with additional comfort being in your surroundings. We will need privacy and place to sit where we can be socially distanced. I can assist you in figuring out the logistics that will work in your particular space.
If you are more comfortable using teletherapy, I offer a safe, confidential space through Simple Practice.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
I recommend that you "interview" several therapists before choosing one. Ask for a 30 minute phone interview to help you determine if they're a good fit. Ask questions. Once you have found someone, make sure you feel safe and comfortable sharing sensitive information about yourself. If you're having difficulty, let your therapist know so they can better meet your needs.
