My Approach to Helping
During the last couple of years life has been extremely difficult. If you were not anxious, frustrated or depressed you might be now, and you are not alone. You may feel overwhelmed, exhausted or even hopeless at times. You might have tried a variety of ways to improve, and perhaps some succeeded but not enough, or not continuously. I have helped people like you for twenty-five years.
You can experience calmness. You can return to that peaceful state again and again. You can gain control over emotions and haunting negative thoughts. I will guide you step-by-step, at your pace. I use a variety of therapeutic methods in order to facilitate each person's needs and desires. I may listen, ask questions, give information, facilitate exploration or expression through simple art (no experience or special talent needed). I may facilitate deep muscle relaxation with guided imagery, or brief meditation. We may explore family or relational communication or behavioral patterns, or even use a brief problem solving chart. There are so many ways to transform the unwanted into healthy, balanced, and even joyful living. Give me a call.
