My Approach to Helping

How can Family Therapy help you? Is there someone in your family that seems to be the center of all the conflict? Do you feel helpless or that your situation is out of control? If you and your family are struggling, let me help you. I help families resolve behavioral issues through guiding parents with positive parenting strategies. I also support children so they learn different coping skills to express their emotions without acting out in undesirable ways. Family therapy can strengthen the parent-child bond and decrease unwanted behaviors. Parents can learn new ways to help their children and gain the confidence they need.

Do you need support during your Divorce? Are your children having a hard time with their new living arrangements? I'm here to help you and your children adjust and learn to cope with the roller coaster called Divorce. I work with children and families who are going through divorce and assist when there is child alienation from a parent or grandparent.

Sometimes children are angry at one parent and refuse to have contact with them. I specialize in helping children and their parents reestablish a healthy relationship. As a Court involved therapist, I am comfortable writing treatment summaries and Court reports as needed. I am also available to appear in Family Law or Dependency Court to testify.
