Fall 2020 is approaching quickly. During this challenging and tense time, with our COVID-19 reality staying in place for now, varied feelings of anxiety, depression, even fear can emerge though a mental health crisis such as this pandemic. I offer a nonjudgmental, safe and comfortable counseling experience for us to talk about your issues and feelings. The days are going to get shorter, as is the daylight. Keep the light in your life, through Fall, upcoming holiday season, and beyond. I offer my congratulations on beginning this journey by reading my profile, and taking the LEAD on your life.
As an experienced therapist of more than 25 years, I bring insight and deep respect for all people. Your feelings always have value. Feelings of grief, anxiety, or low self-esteem can be explored following your own goals and within your own comfort zone. You don't need to work through any issues alone, it really is harder that way.
I work with young adults, mid-life and older adults, and all types of couples, on issues such as grief and loss; women in life transition; trauma; sexual identity; eating disorders; and relationship issues. Our exploration together of what may be troubling to you, or something that may present obstacles to you moving forward in a more satisfied way, can all be explored according to your personal time-line for growth. My openness and empathy are most important in working with you, right beside knowledge and insight.
