My Approach to Helping
One of my great passions has always been helping others. Experiences of unhappiness, sorrow, struggles, and difficult issues are part of life. My goal as a therapist is to meet you where you are at and provide a safe space to explore and share emotions, thoughts, needs, and wants free from judgment. Aligning with you and seeing the world through your eyes, I can help you to develop healthy perceptions of yourself, strengthen relationships, and achieve goals to have an improved quality of life and health. Through therapy, which is a collaborative process, I can offer tools and interventions that can help you get to your desired destination.
I have worked with many different client populations, which include children, adolescents, and adults, and I truly enjoy what I do. I know that no single approach works for every individual, so I am knowledgeable in a variety of modalities which include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and strength-based.
