My Approach to Helping
If you are done feeling stuck, tired of feeling down, ready to feel less anxious and want to move forward in your life, I would love to work with you. My role as a therapist is as a guide to help you understand what is working and what is not going so well in your life. Together we will target symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD and negative habits and help create new patterns of health. We figure out together how to move you towards the life you want, and create lasting changes so you can feel better, and move your life in the direction you want!

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Therapy is a terrific tool to help you look inside yourself and see the patterns in your life. It can be an incredible opportunity to learn more about how your brain works, and how your thoughts, feelings, behaviors and relationships are all interconnected. Therapy challenges you to try things in a different way, and to examine how you think about and view the world around you. I look forward to working with you!
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
Therapy typically works best when there is a good relationship between the client and the therapist. Expect the first session or two to be used getting to know each other, and to explore the issues and concerns bringing you into treatment. Clients often come in for weekly sessions and average 10-12 sessions total.
