My Approach to Helping
As a clinical therapist and pastoral counselor, providing care is a vital part of Carolyn’s identity. The most significant portion of her career has been in medical social work, and She served many years as a private practitioner. Diligence, ethics, integrity, and compassion are vital concepts that describe her attributes as a person and counselor. As a counselor, She enjoys engaging with others. Relationships are significant to her as a person. Carolyn is open to learning from others, and She sees people as extensions of herself. She believes in unconditional positive regard and respects various cultures and religions. Carolyn is mindful, prayerful, and Spiritually inclined. Further, she is non-judgmental and empathetic in her approach and rapport building. As one partnering with others for problem resolution, she is very passionate about theology and the well-being of others. She enjoys many aspects of counseling and caregiving in her long career and life. She is a great listener, and she exhibits unconditional positive regard in her counseling skill set. She is sensitive to those challenged with disabilities, grief, and loss issues. Carolyn enjoys working to inspire and encourage others to achieve their life purpose and goals. Carolyn works from a biblical approach tempered with love, mercy, and grace for all. Also, she utilizes a non-judgmental method as well as a delicate balance.
