My Approach to Helping

At Beyond the Storm Counseling I am very focused on empowering people to make the right choices and decisions in order to find the best life direction. Especially skilled and experienced in working with individuals and couples to create the best life direction, even in the event of difficult life circumstances.

Long-term strength in helping clients deal with difficult people and situations (i.e. narcissism). Experience in helping people with addictions, especially sexual addictions, as I work with individuals and couples restoring their most important intimate relationship.

I enjoy a positive, can-do attitude in my work and life and instill this approach to life with my clients.

Truly enjoy working with people to realize a vision that best fits their positive direction in life, and finding creative strategies for long-term patterns that have frustrated positive life direction.

I bring total dedication to my work, and enjoy being a true support for people committed to making changes in their lives.

More Info About My Practice

I am skilled with dealing with sexual addiction. I work with sexual addicts, their partners, their relationship, and their families.

I have a dedicated approach to empowering the addict to commit to consistent recovery.

I bring a strong \'partner focused\' approach to working with sexual addicts that empowers them to nurture their relationship, while understanding the pain a partner experiences with sexual addiction.

I work with the partners of people dealing with sexual addiction to grow, heal, and change. Creating and living healthy boundaries going forward in their lives.

I work with couples to restore their relationship from the effects of sexual addiction, to arrive at the place of having a relationship with a level of intimacy and integrity never thought possible.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

What I love about being a psychotherapist is empowering people to find their positive life direction in the midst of really tough situations.

Totally enjoy finding creative strategies in collaboration with my clients for making consistent changes, even if it is one step at a time.

Love instilling in my clients a positive "can-do" attitude that helps bolster self-esteem when challenged. In short, I love seeing people make consistent real change when life has been particularly challenging for them.
