My Approach to Helping
I see myself as an assistant to change, who helps people lead lives of purpose, hope, and empowerment. I help people cultivate insights and boost self-esteem, so they can make positive decisions. I am passionate about supporting people with anxiety and depression, as well as health issues, dementia, chronic illness, caregiver issues, neglect and abuse, adjustment issues, loss and grief, stress-related disorders, women’s issues, wellness, divorce, and relationships.

I bring to my work 25 years of experience in social work. I help adolescents, families, couples, and individuals. I’ve supported people with medically complex conditions, caregivers to elders, those with chronic illnesses, and elders. I embrace a person-centered, supportive approach. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
I help my clients solve problems and create change. I support my clients to cultivate insights and alleviate symptoms, meeting each client where they are. I help individuals make lasting changes, develop new skills and strategies, and feel healing, hope, and peace.
