My Approach to Helping
I am interested in helping individuals and families understand their psychological experience. This includes the role of the unconscious mind and the physical being, both of which effect well-being.
Psychotherapy helps individuals use their external and internal resources to their fullest capacity. It supports changes in the individual's feeling, thinking, and behavior, reducing anxiety, pain, and depression. It encourages healthy emotional development, assisting couples and individuals to utilize and understand their intellectual and emotional capacities.

I offer a private, confidential setting in which to explore psychological issues. You have direct, confidential access to me by telephone outside of our scheduled appointments if you have urgent concerns.

I am interested in helping people become aware and understand the barriers that prevent meaningful and fulfilling relationships and life experiences. I have training and experience helping people work through traumatic experiences as well as helping people better understand and work through troubling emotional experiences such as chronic feelings of anxiety, depression, sadness and anger.
