My Approach to Helping
I work with clients in dealing with anxiety, bereavement, grief and loss, depression and trauma. I specialize in treating adult clients dealing with grief and loss and bereavement. I can provide teletherapy for these services too. I work with clients whom have experienced a traumatic event(s). I teach them how to decrease racing thoughts, sleep better, relax, cope with situations and communicate their feelings. I also work with them to change their thinking by showing them the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
I specialize is providing teletherapy, grief and loss counseling and trauma therapy for adults. My online platform makes it easy to engage in therapy. If you prefer in person or would like to utilize both options that is available too. I have attended many trainings on grief and loss and trauma in order to better assist my clients. I have been practicing therapy for 10 years. After working for various counseling agencies and companies, I decided to go into private practice to better meet the needs of my clients. I have experience working with many types of clients. I received my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. During my graduate program, I received membership into the Pi Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota which is the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International for counselors. In addition, I have been a member of numerous counseling associations which assists me with staying up to date in the field.
