My Approach to Helping
So many of us have cracks in our foundations due to difficult life experiences, painful childhoods, traumas, addictions, relationship issues, and health conditions. Life challenges can seem so overwhelming that growing into the person that we would like to seems impossible. I am here to help you reprocess past pains, shift negative perspectives, and let go of harmful behaviors. We are all capable of so much more than we know, yet we stand in the way of ourselves.
I have experience working with a wide variety of clients, which has helped me grow as a helping professional. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and EMDR, in working with my clients. I believe that the client knows themselves best, and because of this, I will always let my clients lead me to the concerns that they would like to talk about. You can take relief knowing that I am non-judgmental and will not push you beyond your comfort level.
Therapy is a journey, and I am simply a guide to help show you what you are really capable of. I am not here to tell you how to live your life, but I am here to help remove the emotional obstacles that stand in the way of you being your best self.
