My Approach to Helping
Beginning therapy, can be an overwhelming decision! I strive to provide a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where individuals, couples, and families can express and work through their concerns. As a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I have a passion for helping my clients through challenging life transitions. Together we set goals and work toward their ideas of a better future.
I have been trained in research-backed, strengths-based techniques, and continue to educate myself in the most effective approaches to therapy. I have a special interest in high-conflict couples, and have received additional training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I also co-facilitate psychoeducational groups regarding parenting, grief, and couples.
Additionally, I am a clinical supervisor, and taught undergraduate students as a Associate Faculty Member at Arizona State University. At Gateway Marriage and Family Therapy, we can assist our clients in opening the gate to a better tomorrow.
