I thrive on connecting with people and guiding them through many of life's challenges and transitions. I create an open, nonjudgemental space in which we can do our work together. It is my goal that you feel supported and understood if you choose to do counseling with me. I am always honored by the invitation to work alongside my clients.

While I work within a variety of theories (Internal Family Systems, Family Systems, Mindfulness in Psychotherapy, Relational Psychotherapy, etc) I believe in creating a customized treatment approach for each of my clients. We will create this together, in collaboration.

I bring optimism, humor, creativity and innovation to the therapy space during our work together. I also offer a guilt free phone consultation to discuss more about me and to get to know more about you. I find this very helpful as finding the right therapist is the MOST important part of therapy. What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

You're not alone. It is completely normal to be concerned about the therapy process. If you choose to work with me then we will discuss all of your concerns anytime they come up. I invite open communication in all of my therapy sessions with client. Many people have had great experience with therapy and there are people who haven't had great experiences as well. I offer a complimentary consultation so that we can see if we might be a good fit to work together. It is very important that you feel connected to and supported by your therapist, even if that person isn't me. To anyone concerned about the therapy process or on the fence about going to therapy I would also say just take a small step forward. Reach out to a therapist to see if they are a good fit for you. That alone is progress!
