What's My Approach to Therapy?

I believe that children heal through safe, trusting relationships—especially with the adults who know them best. In my work, I focus on strengthening the parent–child connection, supporting emotional regulation, and helping families feel more grounded, attuned, and connected.

My approach blends trauma-informed care, play therapy, and parent–child relational models. I help children express big feelings through play and gentle exploration, while giving parents practical tools to understand behavior, reduce stress in the home, and support their child’s nervous system.

I hold a warm, empathic, and playful space where children can be themselves and where caregivers feel supported, not judged. Healing isn’t about perfection; it’s about creating small, meaningful shifts together that lead to lasting change for the whole family.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love being a child and family therapist because of the honesty, creativity, and openness young people bring. Through play, curiosity and conversation, I help kids and teens explore big feelings in ways that feel safe and natural. Supporting parents to understand what?s happening beneath their child's behavior is equally rewarding. It?s a true privilege to hold space for families and witness their growth, connection, and confidence as they navigate life's challenges together.
