My Approach to Helping
I'll guide you in developing a sense of mastery, using cognitive behavioral skills to make positive changes in your life. I approach each client with authenticity, integrity, and respect. I will listen deeply to your life experiences. I am curious to learn about your cultural and ethnic background, and I pay close attention to personality. I may use humor or my personal experiences if I think it could be useful to you. I am empathetic and hold a non-judgmental space, but I will challenge you to take an honest look at the unhelpful thought and behavior patterns that contribute to your distress.
