My Approach to Helping
Hello! If you're reading this, then you are struggling with a challenge in your life that has become difficult enough to consider seeking assistance. Congratulations on taking this step and considering using the resources available to you. Learning new ways to think about the challenges that you face and incorporating small changes in your daily behavior can allow you to release the grip that these challenges have on your life. If you are struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, depression, or obsessions and compulsions, I hope that you'll take the next step and contact me. I provide cognitive-behavioral therapy (including Exposure and Response Prevention therapy for OCD) services online to residents of Missouri and Kansas through a HIPAA-compliant internet platform. I have had the privilege of working as a therapist since 2001 and have been fortunate enough to see many people create a more meaningful and enjoyable life for themselves. My clients generally describe me as kind, gentle, calm, and humorous. I practice primarily from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, but also incorporate other models, such as ERP, to augment therapy. I have received training from the Milton H. Erickson Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona, and Anaheim, California as well as the International OCD Foundation.
