My Approach to Helping

You are overwhelmed with fear or frustration. You've lost sight of your identity and dreams, wondering how you got so far from where you thought you should be. I specialize in helping you find emotional balance and a way forward. With a compassionate, collaborative counseling style, I use my experiences and training as a therapist, pastor, and educator to help overwhelmed adults and frustrated couples find clarity and hope in difficult situations.

I am a board-certified psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. I have worked and trained with Pia Mellody, Dr. Tian Dayton, and other renowned experts in the treatment of adults with trauma, addiction, mood disorders, and serious mental illness. I meet with individuals, couples, and groups at Thrive Therapy in north Phoenix.

"I found Brent to be quite skilled at assisting patients in developing insight into their issues...I have deep respect for his clinical skills." -Pia Mellody, author of "Facing Codependence" and Senior Fellow at The Meadows
