My Approach to Helping
I serve as a Medical Operations Officer, Health Services Plans, Operations, Intelligence Security, and Training Officer in the United States Army National Guard. I have served his country in this role and many others for the past twelve years, including as a Behavioral Health Technician NCO. I enjoy working with the military community and often support initiatives and movements to help soldiers succeed while serving in and outside the armed forces. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I plan to pursue his marriage and family therapy license (LMFT) to become a dually licensed practitioner in Texas and an LPC in Louisiana. I have seven years of counseling experience across various treatment settings, including community-based services and inpatient facilities.
I understand that no single approach is suitable for every individual, so I eagerly train in various modalities, including traditional counseling and systems theories to postmodern theories. I am a proponent of healthy living, which is evident in the holistic approach in the sessions. When people have hope, they are inspired to change and pursue their ideal nature.
