My Approach to Helping
I utilize a holistic person-centered approach to therapy. I provide a warm, compassionate space where you can expect to be accepted just as you are. I believe we all are unique and there is no one right approach that fits all people. I work collaboratively with each client to see what works best for them. I tailor therapy uniquely for each individual. Some modalities I use are Mindfulness, Body Wisdom, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing).
My core belief is that people are inherently valuable and every human being is born with an innate
potential for growth, and like a seed when it gets all of the nourishment it needs it can bloom and flourish. I believe when people have a chance to be heard and valued without judgement in a safe environment they have an opportunity toward health and healing.
