My Approach to Helping
At times, anyone can struggle with feeling sad, anxious, or depressed. Some may find it difficult to remember a time when they didn't feel this way and might feel alone. I am here to help.
I am a clinical social worker who uses a holistic framework. This means that I consider the person as a whole and what is happening biologically, psychologically, and socially for my client. I spend a lot of time making sure each of my clients has a treatment plan that is just right for them.
It is my hope to establish a relationship and strong rapport with each of my clients, letting them know that they are valued and supported in opening up. I work to create a safe environment for my clients to do so. I have experience working with youth and adolescents, adults, families, and groups. I have helped people who have experienced trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, and BPD. I draw from various evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, solution-focused brief therapy, and motivational interviewing. I am also eager to do faith-integrated therapy for clients of faith.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you!
