I love being a therapist. Day after day clients invite me into the most intimate chambers of their lives. Day after day I comfort them and ease their despair. I enjoy experiencing personal growth and the development of a more authentic self in my clients. Positive change happens in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. I focus on personality qualities, habits, behaviors, and emotional distress.

The decision to pursue psychotherapy can be stressful. It is an active process for both client and therapist. The most important predictor of positive therapy is a solid working relationship that offers clients the freedom and safety to talk about experiences that you have avoided or considered uncomfortable to discuss with partners, friends, and family.

I am certified as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and Distance Counseling Credentialed (DCC). Distance Counseling can provide therapy that is more accessible and can connect from almost any device. The communication has strict privacy measures and is HIPAA compliant Distance counseling is not for everyone. More Info About My Practice

My 20 years of experience has helped me to recognize that people are very different although their problems appear to be the same. All individuals are unique and bring to the session their own personal strengths, coping skills, and understanding of the world as it pertains to their lives.

I am committed to guiding my clients toward a place of relief from emotional distress. This can happen in our first session. It is the relief of finally talking to someone who understands and listens.
